We collect and use the information for the following purposes: (i) to contact you as our prospective or existing customer and offer you our services (categories of information: your name, surname, job title, name of a company you represent, your position, contact e-mail address, contact telephone number, communication with you, other information you provide us with); (ii) to conclude a data supply agreement with you if you wish to do so (categories of information: your name, surname, signature, job title, name of the company you represent, your position, contact e-mail address, contact telephone number, communication with you, agreements concluded with you, other information you provide us with); (iii) to disclose your professional information you have decided yourself to make public on professional social networks, start-up websites, business consulting websites to our clients that are interested in such information (categories of information: your name, surname, your public profile information, your public profile URL, job title, industry, work experience, number of recommendations received, awards, certifications, courses, languages, organizations, patents, projects, publications, test scores, volunteering experience, title of your online profile, country, groups, interests, websites, summary, number of connections, location you specified (if any), account creation date, other information about you that you yourself made public; (iv) to handle your inquiry in case you submitted one (categories of information: your name, surname, contact e-mail address, contact telephone number, project budget, bank account details, name of the company you represent, content and date of your inquiry, reply to your inquiry, other communications with you, other information you provide us with); (v) to fulfil accounting and legal requirements and, if the need to do so arises, engage in legal proceedings related to you or the company you represent (categories of information: all of the afore-mentioned information, invoices, payment information, services provided, accounting and legal case files, legal documents, other information you provide us with). Please note that depending on circumstances which are impossible to define in advance, categories of information we collect may vary. You are required to provide us with the above-mentioned information that is necessary to conclude a data supply agreement with you and to fulfil accounting and legal requirements. In case you do not provide us with the afore-going information, we will not be able to provide our services to you; (vi) to enable you to create and manage your account, as well as access and use our Database Data service via our cloud platform (categories of information: your name, surname, phone number, email address, company name, industry, credit card information (applicable for paid services only), your account credentials (username, encrypted password), usage data (such as access logs, activity history, preferences).
Why are You Allowed to Collect the Information?
We collect the information only for the purposes described in this Policy above and where at least one of the following is present: (i) you have given your consent (for example, to contact you as our prospective or existing customer and offer you our services or handle your inquiry in case you submitted one); (ii) the information is required for the performance of a contract (for example, to conclude a data supply agreement with you if you wish to do so); to enable you to create an account and use our services via our client platform if you wish to do so; (iii) we are required to use your information by law (for example, to fulfil accounting and legal requirements applicable to us); (iv) you have decided yourself to make your professional information public (for example, to disclose such information to our clients that are interested in it); or (v) we or third parties have a legitimate interest to use your information (for example, if the need to do so arises, to engage in legal proceedings related to you or the company you represent or to disclose your professional information you have decided yourself to make public to our clients that are interested in such information).
Where do you Collect the Information From?
We collect most of the information described under the section ‘What Information do You Collect? For which Purposes?’ from yourself. We collect your professional information you have decided yourself to make public from publicly available professional social networks, start-up websites, business consulting websites.
How Long Do You Keep the Information?
Your information will be retained only for so long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out above, considering criteria such as applicable rules on statute of limitations, legal requirements and the duration of your use of our website and our services.
Do You Collect the Information About Minors?
We do not knowingly collect and sell the information of minors under 18 years of age. By using the website and/or our services, the user asserts they are not under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, please do not use our website and/or services and do not submit any information through our websites or services without parents’ permission. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received information of minors under 18 years of age, we will delete such information from our records.
Do you Share the Information with Third Parties?
Only where permitted by applicable laws and for the purposes listed in this Policy we share, to the extent necessary, the information with: (i) our business partners that provide IT, infrastructure, servers, marketing, customer support, accounting, legal, agency, payment processing service providers (applicable for paid services only via our self-service platform) and other services to us; (ii) our customers that are interested in your professional information you have decided yourself to make public; and (iii) notaries, bailiffs, auditors, courts, law enforcement institutions, tax, regulatory and other public authorities only in cases where we are required, by way of a statutory provision or a binding legal order, to provide the information to such authorities.
What Rights do I Have Concerning My Information?

What is my Right to Request Deletion of the Information?
You have a right to request the deletion of your information collected and maintained by us in case the information is not used in compliance with applicable laws. How Will you Verify My Request?
Your request must provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person or an authorized representative of a person whose information we have collected (name, surname, your public profile URL, your e-mail, other information we may request for verification purposes), describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it, provide a confirmation under a penalty that you are the individual whose personal information is the subject of the request. If your request is submitted by an authorized agent, a written permission and information that verifies the identity of the agent must be enclosed with the request.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with the information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the information relating to you. In order to verify your identity, we may request you to provide additional information about yourself. We will only use this information and information provided in the request to verify your identity or authority to make the request.
Can I Use an Authorized Agent?
Yes. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request to opt-out on your behalf if you provide us with the authorized agent's written permission to do so. If this is the case, please provide us with a copy of the said permission as instructed under the section ‘How Do I Submit a Request?’ above. We may deny a request from an authorized agent that does not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf. You may also make a request on behalf of your minor child.
